RATH MHUIRE & DOLMEN FÁILTE COMMUNITY RESOURCE SERVICES:

PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Rath Mhuire & Dolmen Fáilte Community Resource Services (Est. **Apply
on the website**) is a community-based organisation that has been
working with community groups in the North Longford region. We
support: Active Age Retirement Groups, Mens Sheds, Daycare Services
and Community Cultural /Social Groups and events.

JOB TITLE

Part-Time Administrative Assistant, based in Rath Mhuire Resource
Centre, Barrack St, Granard, Co Longford. This role is to assist with
the expansion and development of our services.

ROLE:

* Reception Duties - Act as a main ‘Front of house’ support for
the centre, greeting visitors, dealing with queries and answering the
phone/emails.
* Provide strong administrative and IT support throughout the
organisation.
* Financial Administration: To be responsible for the bookkeeping of
all accounts i.e. income and expenditure, petty cash, bank
reconciliations, lodgements, and cheque requisitions.
* Production of other financial documentation when necessary.
* Assist the centre manager in maintaining the updating of all
policies and procedures.
* To assist in organising and coordinating events in collaboration
with relevant staff.
* Work as part of a team and help foster a culture of teamwork.
* All other general administration duties as agreed with the
manager.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS/ CREDENTIALS:

* Relevant qualification in Administration/IT.
* 3- 4 years’ experience providing administrate support in a busy
office environment.
* Excellent knowledge and experience in administration and financial
management.
* Excellent time management, communication and organisation skills.
* Proven strong IT skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and
Excel).
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Valid Irish Driving Licence.

TERMS:

* This post is offered on a weekly *-hour
basis.
* A pension will be appointed by the employer.
* From time to time work can include evenings and weekends.
* This position is subject to funding and will be reviewed on an
annual basis.
